My first running event.. (actually its a walking event)

After a couple of month training, finally i can run 1 loop of the Bukit Padang jogging track. A good progress and i felt healthier. One day as i was walking around at "tamu" Tamparuli, i received a flyer that says "World Walking Day" by Nestle. Its a 3.5km walking distance and i thought i should give it a try.


So on December,18 2011 , i arrived early at Tamparuli for the event and i'm excited. The event kick off at 7.30 am, although its a walking event everybody started running so am I. I ran as 'fast' as i can with a walk in between.Its a walking event turned into a running event. It took me about 27 min to reach the finish line.



Its a fun event and you get free Livita and Milo at the finish line. Sometimes in life you need a kickstart to make something happen and this is my Kickstart.

A wake up call

 By early 2011 I've made a decision that change my life and made who i am today.Being a smoker for the past 13 years i have my wake up  call. Being sick for month coughing, at 1st i thought it was normal. So i stop smoking for a month and the coughing stop and i started smoking again and things got worse after that. I'm unable to sleep at night, until one day i cough and there is blood in it. i went to see the doctor and she advice me stop smoking, it could be worse. So thats it i decided to stop smoking. I started thinking about my health, am i going to live with this unhealthy lifestyle? The answer is NO. I started with the most simple and easy exercise jogging. i still remember the 1st time, could't even jog for 500m continuously but i keep going and the Tun Fuad Stephens park is my new playground. I've been running since then. 

I bought myself a running shoes for some extra motivation
